My beloved Kentucky Wildcats are going through a nasty dry spell this season. The lost tonight to Tennessee at home makes it very difficult to get into the NCAA tournament this year. Kentucky's had very few strong, quality wins. Tonight would've been one. They just couldn't get the job done.
The problem, once again came down to subpar defense although Kentucky held Tennessee below their season average. They also needed more scoring from Sparks. He had a dismal game and spent most of the time on the bench. He was cold. We've still got to play Tennessee again in Knoxville and we meet Florida again up here. We've still got a lot of ground to cover and we're running out of time.
