Specter Thinks Wiretaps Illegal Sunday, February 05, 2006

In an interesting development today, Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) said he thinks the wiretapping, as he's seen so far.Specter made the comments this morning on Meet the Press. With any luck, he'll keep the same level of scrutiny and skepticism throughout the proceedings, starting with tomorrow's testimony by the attorney general, Gonzales.

One comment some are making is about they leaker of this information about wiretapping is they think the leaker needs to be investigated, suggesting he's done something wrong. As far as I'm concerned, the person, man or woman, is an American hero. The person's tried to bring an end to one of the most corrupt administrations in the history our nation and it's time someone reined in the power of the Bush administration.
