Alito Bucks Conservatives... This Time Wednesday, February 01, 2006

Justice Alito agreed with the liberal justices on SCOTUS and granted a stay of execution to for Missouri inmate Michael Taylor, convicted of killing 15-year-old Ann Harrison. The reasoning is behind the notion lethal injection is cruel and unusual.

I'm a little surprised at Sammy there. I woulda figured he'd be one to flip on the machines for sure. Apparently his position on the death penalty isn't always "fry the fuck out of 'em." Maybe we can eventually get rid of the death penalty. It would be surprising to see Alito be one who might help get rid of it.
