Jack Carter Throws His Hat In Monday, February 06, 2006

Jack Carter, son of former president, Jimmy Carter, threw his hat in the race for U.S. Senate for a seat in Nevada. With his daddy beside, Carter made his announcement. His father spoke though and gave his two cents for the shameful behavior of the Bush administration and more specifically, the wiretapping scandal:

"Under the Bush administration, there's been a disgraceful and illegal decision — we're not going to the let the judges or the Congress or anyone else know that we're spying on the American people," Carter told reporters. "And no one knows how many innocent Americans have had their privacy violated under this secret act."
