Democrat From Kentucky

We promote fair and honest political discussion from all sides of the ideological spectrum While my own opinions and my contributors tend toward a more progressive view, that's not always the case. I ask people to comment freely and openly to promote fair discourse.

Bluegrass Report Trying To Draft Ken Lucas Thursday, December 01, 2005

It looks like the Draft Ken Lucas movement continues to move forward. Ben Chandler's former campaign manager and current writer of Bluegrass Report has created a website called DraftKenLucas.com.

Admirable effort, Lucas needs all the encouragement he can get. The only alternative would be former Miss America, Heather French Henry. A lot of people feel should could beat Davis pretty handily. She would certainly be the best looking candidate in the race.

This is getting really big. We have to get someone to replace Davis up here. He is a disaster. I didn't pay attention to politics when Ken Lucas was in office. My mom never cared for him too much, as she thought he was "too Republican" - said he wasn't really a Democrat. But I'd say he has a really good chance against Davis. I've never been more critical of anyone publicly than Geoff Davis.
