Calls For Ky Reps to Give Money Back to Tom Delay Tuesday, October 04, 2005

A number of Republican reps from Ky. in congress have take money from good old Tom Delay. I wonder what kind of washing machine he put the money through? Realistically, they won't give the money back. But occasionally, they should check and see if the money is actually legal. It's a small technicality but certainly one worth looking into.

Yeah. They should return it. Geoff Davis has already stated, through his spokeswoman, that he will NOT be returning the money. Only if convicted of a crime will he return it.

i'm sure they check to make sure it's legal. Every bill says "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private".

Wouldn't do to accept counterfeit in your campaign contributions.
